As a breeder of primarily Black Great danes for 7 years I wanted to branch out into the High school of Great Dane breeding and Tackle the Harlequin. The clean white base colour and patches of black make this Dane stunning to behold.
"Pantheon" literally means "The Gathering of the Gods" and our Goal is to breed Great Danes of Sound Body, Mind, and Temperment.
Danes that will make wonderful show or breeding dogs but are first and formost wonderful family pets.
I have been breeding and been owned by great Danes scince 2001.
My dane life started off with CKC reg. "The Exodius of Strongbow" (Zodie) a beautiful black male from Strongbow Kennels Nancy Crosby in Port Colbourne, Ontario, Canada. Zodie sired only 1 beautiful litter for me before he was diagnoised with a brain tumor at age 3 and had to be put down.
Zodie's mate was a solid Black female AKC reg. "Ecclesiastes Hope For Tomorrow"
(Sia) for short. Sia had 10 almost all soild Black pups with Zodie in may of 2005.
In March of 2006, Sia was bred to a Fawn male AKC reg "Fara's Proud German Boy Jagger". This mating produced 8 black pups in May of 2006.
Sia was bred once more in 2006 and then retired and lived with a friends family. Sadly in the summer of 2007 Sia developed an abcess and died from complications.
After Sia was retired, I co-owned a Black AKC female "Paul's Faithful Whiteline"
(Zora) as well as one of Sia's 2006 litter boys "Bronson"
Bronson and Zora were mated in February 2007 for an April 2007 Litter.
BOY! were we surprised when Zora had 16 puppies. Life circumstances and a change in address caused me to decide to sell out of my share of Bronson and Zora in October of 2007.
I took almost a year before deciding to jump back into the danes, but this time I was going all HARLEQUIN. I started with a Harlequin Female "Abby" and she is the Harl that started Pantheon Giants. as you read above Pantheon Giants means
The Gathering of The Gods. We strive with every litter to produce better quality, even-tempered, stunning Harlequin and Mantle Danes adhereing as close as possible to the Canadian and American Kennel Club standards.
Our Current Pantheon Giants are Briar, Cruiser and Cruiser's daughter Rain.
